GEICO, the nation’s second largest and fastest growing auto insurance company, is seeking a motivated, creative, and talented Multimedia eLearning Designer and Developer to join our Corporate Management Training and Development team!
We are looking for an artistic individual that is proficient in instructional design, major authoring tools, adaptive eLearning, and multimedia design.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Multimedia eLearning Designer and Developer, you will work with subject matter experts to design and develop training material on proven leadership concepts and theories that support the development of our management team countrywide. You will meet with appropriate parties to design effective multimedia training materials and present creative ideas to stakeholders from various departments while soliciting/incorporating feedback to make necessary changes. You will develop modules that can be trained individually, as well as part of a larger curriculum. You will create interactive courses, informational videos, and other supplemental creative material for management training.
The ideal candidate will:• Work independently, or as a team, with subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain our eLearning courses.• Collaborate with others to design and develop scripts and storyboards, graphics and illustrations, videos and motion graphics, and programming in eLearning software.• Develops visually engaging multimedia eLearning modules.• Evaluates and maintains eLearning courses in LMS.

Required Skills and Experiences:• BS/BA degree in Instructional Design, Instructional/Education Technology, Graphic Design, Digital Design, or other applicable instructional or multimedia design• 3 years working experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or graphic/digital design, or any other related field• Ability to provide creative and technology solutions to learning requirements• Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines and project plans effectively.• Proven ability working with tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment• Excellent detail-orientation and organizational skills• Motivated to keep up to date with creative design and principles, as well as eLearning development and technology• Ability to adapt knowledge of software, or learn new software quickly
Salary Information:Salary commensurate depending on skills and experience
