Located in the Capital District of upstate New York, Cohoes City School District has a total enrollment of over 2,000 students. The mission of the district is to prepare its students for success in tomorrow's world. This position for a School Nurse is located at Cohoes High School. This position is part of the Cohoes Teaching Association contract. For the 10-month period, salary is based upon experience with Base Salary starting at $41,220 with no experience.

This position is a professional position located in Cohoes High School and is responsible for performing routine nursing services for students. Duties include, among others, assessing for illness/injury and providing emergency treatment, preparing and maintaining school health records, administering prescribed treatments and performing health screenings as necessary. Develops supportive relationships with students and advances positive school culture. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements are graduation from a school of nursing approved by the State Education Department from a course approved as qualifying for Registered Professional Nurse.
