Job Description:


Summary:

Responsible for supporting safety and security operations at The College of Wooster's Campus Safety Department. Oversees building inspections, emergency services, and ensures a safe campus environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in investigations and follow-up reports.
  • Support community policing and customer service.
  • Perform campus patrols and safety escorts.
  • Enforce college regulations and parking rules.
  • Conduct security checks and respond to emergencies.
  • Submit detailed incident reports.
  • Conduct follow-up investigations as needed.
  • Respond to lockouts and provide escorts.
  • Complete repair requests and maintain activity logs.
  • Collaborate with Campus Safety team.
  • Work flexible hours as assigned.



Requirements:


Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's (BA) in criminal justice, law enforcement science or related field and work experience in a college environment preferred. Consideration will be given for related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, licenses, registrations:

A valid Ohio Driver's license required.
