Cost Controller Analyst

Cost Controller Analyst (Lake Forest, CA), Prep cost estimates for construction projects, & services to aid management on determining price of product or service. May specialize according to particular service performed or type of product manufactured.* Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, & subcontractors on changes & adjustments to cost estimates.*Assist in the development & maintenance of project cost control procedures & systems.* Create project cost forecasting & trend analysis reports.* Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develop. * Prep estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors, & review & analyze contractor & vendor cost reports to ensure accuracy & completeness. * Prep cost & expenditure statements & other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project. * Monitor, analyze & report project costs against budgeted costs & provide variance analysis to management & visit site & record info about access, drainage & topography, & availability of utility services.

Must have Bachelor's in business administration, finance or related, and 2 years of experience in business development and planning include: leading process improvement & business development projects, creating & analyzing financial reports, utilizing quantitative analysis, performing data analysis, & employing financial models for forecasting, budgeting, managing risks, & cost estimations. Strong presentation skills & expertise with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint is required. Regular traveling to various unanticipated project site locations in Southern CA.

Salary $50,274/year.
