Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region's largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our employed physician team.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
* Join our group of three Board Certified Heart Failure Cardiologists in our multi-disciplinary program which provides advanced outpatient management and consultation for destination therapy with durable VAD and/or cardiac transplantation. Our busy inpatient service manages patients requiring both acute and durable mechanical support. Practice at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.
* As the region's tertiary referral center for evaluation and treatment of STEMI, Baystate supports high volume interventional/ surgical programs that provide coronary revascularization and valve repair/replacement. In addition, Baystate provides the only comprehensive advanced heart disease program/ LVAD center in western Massachusetts.
* The Baystate Heart and Vascular Center includes 6 surgical/endovascular suites (4 hybrid), and 32 cardiovascular critical care rooms designed to create efficient, comfortable care environments for cardiac patients.
* Opportunity for clinical education and research with fellow, resident and medical student teaching; faculty appointment to UMass-Chan Medical School.
