Job Summary
This is an essential position with a routine work shift of Monday-Friday 1500-2300.
This position performs a variety of tasks in leading custodial workers during the performance of their cleaning duties. General responsibilities include: interfacing effectively with campus customers on a daily basis, providing group training to employees on advanced cleaning processes, coaching, mentoring, ensuring compliance to policies & procedures, demonstration of advanced knowledge in use of custodial supplies and modern cleaning equipment. May perform custodial work as situations warrant. The Supervisor performs daily inspections of work performed across a variety of buildings and performs required administrative duties relevant to the Supervisory position. The Supervisor will utilize a computer with common software programs to perform duties and will be expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Minimum Qualifications
- One year as a Custodial Worker 2 (commonwealth title) or two years of experience performing custodial work
- Valid driver's license
- Possession of a Cleaning Management Institute Certification Supervisor Level or the ability to obtain within 6 months (employer will pay for if candidate does not possess)
- Three years of supervisor or lead worker experience in custodial or related field
- Knowledge of APPA cleaning standards
- Experience performing inspections and providing feedback to subordinates
- Experience writing and delivering employee performance evaluations
- Proficiency with various Microsoft software programs
