JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
To assist the technician(s) in all duties assigned to the technician(s).
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: the Service technicians and (on occasion) precision tune-up specialist.
The following positions report to this position: None.

Education:
Required: Currently enrolled or completion of approved Trade school in HVAC or refrigeration.
Experience:
None
Licensing/Registration/Certification:
Required: Clean Valid Virginia State License
Current EPA certification Card Holder
Skill/Knowledge/Abilities:
Required: Excellent Mechanical Aptitude
Physical:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Must be able to erect a 28’ ladder without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English to prepare, write, and read reports. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions sharp metal, fiberglass insulation, fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places, tight and confined crawl areas. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally extreme.
Essential Functions:

Items listed below are primary duties. Others will be assigned as necessary.
- Perform all work assigned by Service Manager, technicians or precision tune-up-specialists.
- Complete work assignments in a neat and professional manner.
- Assist service technician or precision tune-up specialist in Verifying that all paperwork including Time Tickets and packing slips from vendors are accurate, properly filled out with job number, date, quantities, correct inventory part number and job description of materials used. This is to be turned in on a daily basis at the end of the work day.
- Assist technicians in all areas of the job.
- Project a positive image of the company at all times.
- Follow all company handbook policies and procedures
