Job Description

Support of PeopleSoft Application and Database Administration for Campus Solutions 9.2, HCM 9.2 and FSCM 9.2. Identify, troubleshoot and document performance and configuration issues as necessary. Pager coverage and possible off shift coverage will be required.

Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical problems in the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture including Oracle databases, tuxedo application servers, process schedulers and WebLogic web servers on Unix and Windows platforms. Respond to problem and change tickets related to production application and server support operations. Analyze issues with SQR, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Process Schedulers, Application Servers, Application Messaging, and Web Servers.

Project development. As needed, perform analysis, create specifications, and execute tasks as specified by project requirements

Environment creation, change management, migration of objects/code, performance tuning and production support. Support the data refresh of various test environments from production data sources.

Develop, tune, and debug SQL statements within PeopleSoft Query, Application Engine, and native SQL. Assist development teams with SQL tuning

Create and maintain backups, restoration, and disaster recovery database procedures

Configure PeopleSoft PIA including networking, firewall and load balancing

Perform complex PeopleSoft administration tasks including PeopleSoft tax updates, PeopleSoft and PeopleTools upgrades, patches and PeopleSoft object migrations using Change Assistant and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).

Develop and administer standards for programming, database design, data tables, data element naming, and data library maintenance. Engage in strategic planning for long-term server needs, backup and retention requirements, restoration and disaster recovery database procedures. Advise analysts and programmers on optimum database design and application coding.

Install and configure Elastic Search setup, Phire and PERFMON environments to provide added functionality to PeopleSoft Applications.

Shift

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range:$50,367 - $91,052 Commensurate with experience$51,875 - $91,052 Commensurate with experience
