Med-Pharmacology and Chemical Biology - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (24001049)

A postdoctoral position in molecular pharmacology is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Tatiana Moiseeva at the University of Pittsburgh. The funded project will focus on studying the initiation of DNA replication in human cells. The lab’s current projects focus on mechanistic studies into the regulation of various replication factors and their role in human-origin firing.

Necessary research skills include standard molecular and cellular biology techniques. Prior human cell culture experience is required. In addition, candidates should have outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills and effective written and oral skills. Salary is commensurate with experience and based on current NIH guidelines.

A Ph.D. degree in genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, physiology, or pharmacology. Applications from women and minorities are strongly encouraged.
