Village Street Superintendent

The Village of Brewster is accepting applications for the position of Village Street Superintendent. Applicants should possess a Class A CDL. Preference will be given to individuals who are able to operate heavy equipment such as a backhoe or excavator, and those that have superior mechanical, electrical, and mathematical skills. Entry level wage rate is $25.92 per hour. The normal schedule is a 40-hour work week, with occasional overtime and scheduled weekend work. Preference will be given to individuals who also currently hold an OEPA Water Supply Class I or II Certificate and who have a knowledge of water distribution treatment operations and/or water distribution systems. There is an additional $0.705 per hour incentive per OEPA Water Supply Certificate added to the base hourly rate for each OEPA Water Supply Certification the individual holds or obtains up to Class 2.
